Midway stocks a range of Australian Slate-Crete Colour Hardeners to be used on newly placed concrete to create a harder and denser surface.

Concrete hardeners are applied to the surface of the concrete when still wet. Hardeners were first introduced to strengthen and harden the surface of concrete and they still perform that function. Coloured hardeners are used to colour the surface of concrete.

Powdered colour hardeners are particularly useful in decorative concrete where they can colour:

  • plain concrete

  • stamped concrete

Midway have a range of coloured hardeners in our Laverton showroom. Anything not currently in stock we are able to order in for you.


Colour’s shown below are intended as a guide only. Some variation in colour and shading may occur due to job conditions, application technique, chosen texture, finishing practices and the concrete. Product variations in colour and shading may also occur between batches as a result of the natural nature of the ingredients.
